If being true and commited to a cause,
makes me old-fashioned,
then so be it..
 
If i cant flatter or feed others ego-which
makes me full-of-self,
then so be it..
 
If i dont spend for me and my kid,
on every new dress or toy that i see,
which makes me,stingy,
then so be it..
 
If my crumpled clothes and disheveled looks
make me unfit for society,
then so be it..
 
If i cant give a fake smile or false compliments,
which makes me rude,
then so be it..

If i prefer philosophy to logic,
and history to current-affairs,
which makes me a fool,
then so be it..

If being practical makes me a pessimist,
then so be it..
 

If i am always standing out of the crowd,
not wanting to join,just for the sake of belonging,
which makes me arrogant,
then so be it..
 
If tomorrow,inspite of all my arrogance,
need arises for me,to bend to people i criticise,
for my family s sake,
which makes me shameless,
then so be it..
 
but i ll always be a better person,
for i dont smile at anyone and then gossip behind their backs,
i dont wallow in self-pity all the time,but once in a while,
i dont do anything, just because that is what every one else does,
i dont overdo,because elegance is always subtle,and simple,
and if i cant boast of anything else,
I can always say this,
"i never was and never will be- A Hypocrite"
